There is a kampong style restaurant bar located on the beach where one can enjoy local Indonesian food with cool drinks or hand picked fresh coconuts as you lounge in front of the beach in comfy handmade wood chairs. The Gazebo on stilts extends out overlooking the sea with boulder scenery on one side and a stunning sea view in front. It is a charming corner where one can curl up to relax or simply enjoy reading a book. Lunch or dinner may be taken here upon request. Our staffs are certainly happy to accommodate the requests of their guests to make it a truly enjoyable stay at all times! Recreational Activities This is up to the whim of our guests but favored recreational activities include swimming in the sea and exploring the beach scattered with small rock islands for rich marine life during low tide, walking along the beach soaking up some rays sun-bathing and enjoying breath-taking sunsets in the evening. Water Activity Kayaks are available for rental and banana boats rides. Snokerling and Diving Explore around the coral reef and experience a wide variety of vibrant marine life. For diving, a minimum of 2 persons with equipment included. Other Activities Day trip boat cruises to other small nearby islands can be arranged, along with the fishing tours for those avid fishermen! A village tour, mangrove tour (min of 2 persons) are also available to our guests. Other activities in the form of lessons in traditional handicraft may be organized for those who are interested. Kite boarding on clear, open and shallow water makes this a perfect place for this sport, however, this is only during the Monsoon season when the winds are good. For those who want to look and feel good with rejuventating their bodies and soul, experience a special spa treatment at our sister resort, Bintan Agro Spa, that uses traditional blends of herbs as used by members of the central Java royal courts for centuries. |
